WHY DO WE NEED TO BE SAVED?

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

When a person sin is to do something, whether in consideration, word, or action, that say the opposite to God’s Perfect holy character. Because of sin, we all deserve the judgment of God John 3:18,36. God is holy, so he cannot allow sin and wickedness to go unpunished.
Psalm 51:4, But we should thank God for is grace and mercy for sending his Only Begotten Son to save us from eternal punishment. Jesus Christ saves us by dying on the cross in our place. God sacrificed Himself on our behalf, paying the infinite and eternal penalty only he could pay. 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 2:2.
Because of His great love for us, Jesus laid down His life John 15: 13, paying the punishment that we deserved, what we could not pay. Jesus was then resurrected, and now sitting at the right hand of God making intercession for us Romans 8:34.
